President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, in response to a question from Publimetro, addressed the process of moving to the National Palace, in the main square of Mexico City. Although more than a month has passed since her inauguration as Constitutional President of Mexico, she mentioned that the move has not been completely finished, without detailing the specific reasons for this situation.
In previous weeks, speculation arose about Sheinbaum Pardo's current residence after a video was shared showing her arriving at the venue promptly at 5:00 AM to lead the Security Cabinet meeting. In a video circulated on social media, several soldiers are seen greeting and enthusiastically announcing the arrival of the President of Mexico.
As she made her way to the Security meeting, the flag was sounded, and the soldiers can be seen rendering honors as she passes by, while greeting her in unison. In this context, Sheinbaum Pardo announced at the Morning Conference of that Wednesday, November 13: "We will be moving soon, we are still there in the apartment. Before the year ends, we will move."
